I love each side of this Bible. The illustrations by Jago are each charming and intriguing. There are concerning fifty stories, an honest balance. The text itself is strictly what i would like my youngsters to listen to, theologically. i like this line from the terribly initial chapter. "The Bible is not mainly concerning you and what you ought to be doing. It's concerning God and what he has done." AMEN.
The subtitle is "Every Story Whispers His Name" and indeed, each story will. "No, the Bible is not a book of rules, or a book of heroes. The Bible is most of all a Story. It's an journey story a few young Hero who comes from a way country to win back his lost treasure. it is a love story... You see, the simplest factor concerning this Story is -- it's true. There are several stories within the Bible, however all the stories are telling one massive Story. The Story of how God loves his youngsters and involves rescue them."
She goes on to mention that the middle of the story may be a baby who is just like the missing piece to a puzzle that produces all the opposite items work along, and to reveal the attractive image. She stays true to the present aim, pointing to Christ with each story, serving to youngsters to ascertain the whispers of redemption through it all. If you get only one Children's Story Bible, i might commend this one to you.
